Whare Ora is a free service that checks if your home is healthy and safe. We visit your house, look at everything, and tell you what’s good and what needs fixing.
This service is paid for by Bay Trust so it costs you nothing.

We guide you through every step using a proven 6-step process:
We call you first to make sure this service is right for you. We book a time that works for your whānau.
Our assessor comes to your house to talk with your family, take photos, and write notes about your home.
We make a detailed report that shows what’s good about your home and what needs to be fixed to meet Healthy Home standards.
We sit down with you to go through the report and help you understand the next steps.
We Don’t Provide Money Whare Ora doesn’t give grants or funding for repairs. We only do the assessment and report.
We Help You Find Help We will help you look for funding from other places, but we can’t promise you’ll get it.
