Welcome to Kāinga Manaaki.

Kāinga Manaaki is part of our Te Iwiheke Pātata initiative, providing safe and affordable whare in Tūrangi. But it’s more than just housing—it’s about manaaki (supporting) whānau on their journey towards sustainable housing and homeownership.

Our Approach

Grounded in Te Whare Tapa Whā, we support whānau across all dimensions of wellbeing:

  • Taha wairua – spiritual
  • Taha tinana – physical
  • Taha whānau – family
  • Taha hinengaro – mental & emotional

Our wrap-around support model includes workshops and mentoring to help whānau succeed.
